Courses Offered :
I. Bachelor of Education Courses
i) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
ii) Bachelor of Education, Special Education (B.Ed.Spl.Ed(LD))
Duration: 2 (Two) Year (4 Semester)
INTAKE CAPACITY:
The intake capacity in B.Ed. general course is 100 (One hundred) / two wings (50 students per wing) per each academic year and in B.Ed.Spl.Edn(LD) course, the capacity is maximum 30 (thirty).
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidate with M.A./ M.Sc./ M.Com/ B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./ (B.Tech/ B.E. with specialization in Science and Mathematics having 55% marks) degree from Rajiv Gandhi University or any other recognized University with at least 50% marks in the qualifying degree examination under (10+2+3) pattern/ scheme is eligible for admission to B.Ed. general course and the minimum eligibility for admission to B.Ed.Spl.Edn(LD) course is B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and equivalent degree at graduation level with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying degree examination. SC/ST and OBC (NCL) candidates shall be given relaxation of 5% marks.
Under no circumstances students having Bachelor degree under 10+2+2 pattern/ scheme shall be allowed to take admission in B.Ed. General course and special courses.
II. Master of Education(M.Ed.)Course
Duration: 2 (Two) Year (4 Semester)
INTAKE CAPACITY:
The intake capacity in M.Ed. (General) Course is 50 (Fifty) per each academic year.
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates with minimum 50% marks in B.Ed. degree from Rajiv Gandhi University or any other UGC/NCTE recognized University/ College/ Institution are eligible for admission to M.Ed. Course. SC/ST candidates shall be given relaxation of 5% marks.
